  • Yes, Elm Tree Farm Campsite is part of the Caravan & Motorhome Club, so all guests must hold a valid membership to book a stay with us.

  • Yes, our campsite is strictly for adults only, we are a working farm with moving machinery so we cannot accept children.

  • No, we do not provide toilet or shower facilities. We cater exclusively for fully self-contained units such as campervans, motorhomes, and car tents with portable toilet facilities. Many guests enjoy the added privacy, convenience, and independence this style of camping offers.

  • We have just 5 pitches available, helping to maintain the calm and spacious feel of the site.

  • Each pitch includes:

    • Electric hook-up

    • Grass pitch

    • Space for 1 car

    • Space for up to 2 dogs included in the standard booking

  • Guests also have access to:

    • Drinking water

    • Chemical waste disposal

    • Picnic area

    • Private walk with incredible valley views

  • Yes, well-behaved dogs are very welcome at Elm Tree Farm Campsite.

    We simply ask that:

    • Dogs are kept under control around livestock

    • Any mess is cleaned up immediately

    • Other guests are respected at all times

    Please note, banned dog breeds are not allowed on site.

  • Yes, all pitches include electric hook-up of 16kw

  • We can only accept fully self-contained camping setups. Traditional tents without toilet facilities are not permitted.

  • Elm Tree Farm Campsite is located within our small working farm and livery yard in the village of Barlow, right on the edge of the Peak District. During your stay, you may see horses grazing nearby, occasional farm machinery in operation, and beautiful countryside views all around the site.

  • Absolutely, there are many scenic countryside walks directly from the campsite, including routes towards Cutthorpe, Dronfield, nearby reservoirs, woodland trails, and Peak District viewpoints.

    We recommend using Komoot for walking and cycling routes.

  • Yes, small group bookings are welcome, provided all guests are respectful of others staying on site and help maintain the relaxed atmosphere of the campsite.

  • Yes, we kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum between 10pm and 7am so everyone can enjoy the peaceful countryside setting.

  • Gas BBQs are welcome on site. However, open fires, fire pits, and charcoal BBQs are not permitted due to the surrounding farmland and stored hay nearby, which can present a fire risk.
